Ki Gong is often translated as energy (Ki) work (Gong). Ki simultaneously conveys breath, energy, and matter. Ki Gong refers to exercises including massage, rhythmic movement (dance), meditation, breathing, and stretching/strengthening movements.
One difficulty in translating Korean and Chinese ideograms to other languages is that the characters are literally pictures that may relate entire concepts and ideas. These concepts often cannot be encapsulated in just one word or phrase.
